Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and the profile information you provide (name, age, city, state, bio, photos, faith background).

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the App — swipes, matches, messages sent — to improve the service and compute compatibility scores.

Device information: We may collect basic device and browser information for security and debugging purposes.

• To create and maintain your account
• To show your profile to other members and surface compatible matches
• To deliver messages between matched users
• To compute AI-assisted compatibility scores (premium feature)
• To process subscription payments
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
• To improve the App and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

We share your information only in these limited cases:

• Other members: Your profile (name, photos, bio, faith details) is visible to other members as intended by the App
• Service providers: Firebase (Google) for hosting and database; Stripe for payment processing. These providers process data on our behalf under strict data agreements
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the safety of our users

Photos you upload are stored in Firebase Storage and are accessible to other authenticated App users. We do not use your photos for advertising or share them outside the App.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, matches, and conversations are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and Firestore security rules. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

SDA Match is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

You can access, update, or delete your profile information at any time from the Profile tab. You may delete your account entirely from Profile → Account → Delete Account. For other requests regarding your data, contact us below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
