1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SDA Match (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SDA Match. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to suspend any account we have reason to believe belongs to a minor.
You also confirm that you are not prohibited from receiving services under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, and that you have not been previously removed from the App for violating these Terms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile and to keep it up to date.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person or create multiple accounts. Each person may have only one account.
4. Community Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct
SDA Match is a faith-based community. You agree not to:
- Post content that is false, misleading, or misrepresents your identity or intentions
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any other user
- Post sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive content
- Use the App to solicit money, sell products, or promote external services
- Create fake profiles or impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to circumvent any safety or account verification measure
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App or other users
- Copy, scrape, or harvest user data from the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal of your account without notice or refund.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, profile text, messages). By posting content, you grant SDA Match a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and use that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
6. Premium Subscription
Auto-renewal: SDA Match Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The price is displayed in the app before you subscribe.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings app: go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SDA Match, then tap "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until that date.
Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. We do not control or process refunds directly.
Free features: Core features of SDA Match remain free. Premium features (see who liked you, AI chemistry tips, and nationwide matching) require an active subscription.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for conduct that we believe is harmful to the community, other users, or us. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App.
8. Disclaimers
SDA Match is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that user profiles are accurate, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.
Background checks are not performed on users. Exercise reasonable caution when meeting someone from the App in person — meet in public places and let someone you trust know your plans.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDA Match and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by displaying a notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
